Getting Your PIN Number
New PINs (Personal Identification Numbers) are given out each spring for fall term registration. Your PIN is good for the following academic year (fall, winter, spring). Hang on to it!
You must make an appointment with your advisor to get your PIN. Neither the Registrars Office nor the Zoology Office will give you your PIN before the first day of classes in the fall or if you have not registreed at OSU. You need to meet with your advisor at least once a year! If you meet in the winter or spring before PINs are available, your advisor can give you a PIN coupon to bring to the Zoology Office when they are available.
You will need your PIN for the first time that you register for classes each academic year. After your initial registration, the system will not require you to enter your PIN to make changes or to register for subsequent terms in the same academic year.
