Registration and Scheduling Information

Priority Registration

Your registration date is based on the total number of credits you have earned. During Phase 1 of registration, you may register for a maximum of 16 credits. During Phase 2 of registration, you may register for additional credits. Electronic wait lists will be activated in Phase 2.

How do I get into a closed course that I need?

If you cannot get into a course you need, you may get on the electronic wait list if the course has one and if you meet all the prerequisites. If not, contact the department offering the course and ask if you're eligible for an override or if there's a paper wait list. The location of departments can be found in the OSU Catalog or by viewing the departments online.
