History of the Zoology Department, 1889-200

 The original history was written in 1966 by Ernst J. Dornfeld, a faculty member from 1938-76 and Chair from 1952 until his retirement in 1976. He died in 1983. The history was updated in 1989 by Charles E. King, who joined the department as its Chair in 1977. He was Chair until 1986 and was again Interim Chair from 1995 until the arrival of Stevan Arnold as Chair in 1997.

Copies are also on file in the Department of Archives at OSU, and in  the main library on campus.
